In addition to training, the national team of the neighbouring country plays two matches for preparation purposes, one against NEKA on Sunday and another one versus Finland on Tuesday. The National Academy of Handball has already provided training grounds for several national teams – such as the Hungarian or the Norwegian selection – and this time, the best players of Slovakia spend a week on the shore of Lake Balaton.

The Slovaks take part in several training sessions a day, and they will play on Sunday in a preparatory match versus the NEKA women's team from 4 pm, and they will also play in another one against the Finns on Tuesday from 4 pm.
