We awarded our best performing students in the months of September and October on Monday night. As part of an initiative launched last year, based on the recommendations of our coaches, every month two girls and two boys of the academy earn the award.

Professionals take into account a number of aspects when selecting candidates, and in addition to how they perform in the matches, off-court actions may also count. The candidates received LV sporting goods vouchers by Tamás Mocsai, managing director of NEKA.

In September, Luca Faragó became one of the top players, who worked hard throughout the summer in the European Championships gold medal winning youth national team. She also plays an important role in the NEKA championship team of the national second division (NB I / B league).

 

Luca Csíkosreceived the title of the month’s best academy student for the second time. The young player proves her abilities week by week in the youth championship against opponents four to five years her senior. She sets the standard often higher than her coaches; she always knows what to do and what is expected from her.

 

Márton Dely has also been awarded for the second time, he is the cornerstone of the second division team as well as the youth team of NEKA, as a captain he can support his teammates by his mere presence. He is also a key player of the men's junior national team.

Dániel Kun,earned himself the same recognition with his conduct, studying and on-court performance. According to his coach, he shows reliable performance in matches both in offense and defense.

In October, Viktória Woth became the best, who performs her duties with maximum concentration both in her club team and the youth national team. A trustworthy, good community person who does everything for success.

It is not only thanks to her October performance that Laura Nagy has been chosen. During her rehabilitation following knee surgery lasting more than six months, she prepared with a humble and professional attitude for her return. Gradually she made it back into play, and beyond the game she is an important member of the community, too.

Roland Terjékhas been the handball player with the strongest improvement in recent years among NEKA's new students. His work in training is outstanding, he does everything he can to move forward, he always strives to learn.

The good performance by Marcell Bodócs is clearly visible by the fact that he has returned to the youth national team squad and that he could celebrate a tournament victory with the Hungarian team in France recently. He shows what he has on offer in the NEKA team as well week in, week out.
