AWARDS CEREMONY AND FESTIVE ATMOSPHERE

2019. December 17, Tuesday 15:10 | Talent Development

A real Christmas atmosphere was set for Monday night by the festive programme organized by the college. Following the high-quality performance, the best students of the academy for the month of November – the likes of Noémi Magera, Nóra Nagy, Nándor Bognár and Sándor Kathi – received their awards.

The evening ended with a delicious three-course dinner presented with perfect service.

A cozy environment, a decorated room and, of course, a beautiful Christmas tree welcomed the guests who dressed up nicely for the occasion at the event organized by the NEKA College. The theatre performance including poems and songs also brought to life the story of Bethlehem, which was a huge success thanks to the enthusiastic acting of the youngsters as well as the active support of the educators. The children practiced a lot with the preparation of teacher Szilvia Karcagi, thus the modern but telling performance will remain truly memorable.

Managing Director Tamás Mocsai then handed over the prizes for the best academy students of November. Noémi Magera and Nándor Bognár received the voucher personally, while Nóra Nagy and Sándor Kathi had to participate in the training camp of their respective age group national teams, so they were to receive their recognitions later.

The restaurant had a beautifully laid out table with a lovely Christmas present, and a rich three-course dinner awaited the guests. Service was provided by the students and educators of NEKA as a tradition, which clearly raised the quality of the occasion. We said goodbye to the year in a cheerful, family-friendly environment, for the festive preparations to continue at home a few days later.

Evaluations of the best students of the academy in November:

Nóra Nagy: She is a very hardworking player who subordinates everything to sport, but that is never happening at the expense of studying. She has gone through a complete lifestyle change since the summer, which went clearly in her favour and is visibly showing in her game. It can be exemplary for everyone, as it proves that if you make a decision and really mean it, you can do it all. She is currently preparing for the U15 national team and will travel to Poland for the Olympic Hopes Competition this weekend.

Sándor Kathi: According to his coach, he can only receive praise for his efforts both as a human and a professional, and his November performance was outstanding. He has scored 40 action goals against senior opponents in four U16 games, among other factors this is the reason that he is leading the league in scoring with 82 goals. Our exceptional player is currently in a training camp in Győr with the boys’ U16 national team.

Nándor Bognár: He could earn the recognition to be selected for November with his dedication and exemplary work in training. According to his coach, he has been given more opportunities lately, and he has seized the chance and has repeatedly been one of the best in his team.

Noémi Magera: From week to week, she is a solid contributor in the second division (NBI/B) championships, along with her work on the pitch and in training she is also a key player thanks to her human values.
