Distance is no obstacle

2019. November 06, Wednesday 21:47 | Talent Development

In the framework of the programme series “One day at NEKA”, the young girl teams of Aranyszarvas SE from Tápiószentmárton and Tiszavasvári SE were welcomed in Balatonboglár as guests from far away.

During the demonstration day at the National Academy of Handball, the young handball players took part in a training session under the guidance of our experts, played matches with each other and could show their support at championship matches.

A long road was awaiting our guests on November 6, since the children who visited Balatonboglár completed 366 kilometres coming from Tiszavasvári and 212 km from Tápiószentmárton. The day started with an exciting, intense and fun training session, Beáta Bohus held it for the 2006-2007-born players of Aranyszarvas SE, while the U14 team of Tiszavasvári could work with Szilárd Kiss jr. together.

After lunch and a presentation about the residential village of the academy, the two teams fought each other in the afternoon, with several enthusiastic parents cheering on the little ones from the stands. Beyond the result, of course, a primary objective was to have practice and provide time to play. The NEKA-Nemesvámos women's youth and U15 match was played in a good atmosphere with the help of the support by the girls, who returned home tired but hopefully full of excitement thanks to the experience.
