NEKA PLAYERS IN NATIONAL TEAMS

A total of 33 NEKA players will participate in the four national team training camps in their respective age groups this week.

The men's teams practice and play friendly matches in Budaörs and Győr, while the girls play in international tournaments in Balatonboglár and Poland.

Szilárd Kiss jr. is holding a training camp for the women's youth national team in Balatonboglár, who will compete against the French, Dutch and Germans at the Four Nations Tournament from Wednesday to Friday.

Members of the squad include Gréta Juhász, Míra Vámos, Zsófia Mlinkó, Viktória Woth, Blanka Kajdon, Barbara Bánhidi, Luca Faragó and Blanka Vajer and they will play The Netherlands from 6 p.m. The match can be followed on a live stream here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuhQpbif2JY&feature=youtu.be

The men's junior national team practices in Budaörs this week under the leadership of head coach László Sótonyi, and the team plays two friendly matches against Egypt. From our players Márton Dely, Dániel Kecskés and Gergő Kovács are part of the squad, while among former NEKA handballers Kristóf Győri and Dominik Gál form members of the team. The matches are shown live on the District 24 YouTube channel.

The girls’ U15 national team spent three days in Mosonmagyaróvár in preparations for the Olympic Hopes Tournament to be held in Poland from Thursday on. They will play against the Czech, the Polish and the Slovak team. The national team led by Beáta Bohus and dr. Péter Woth includes in its squad nine NEKA players: Lilla Ágoston, Luca Csíkos, Kata Juhász, Dorottya Molnár, Nóra Nagy, Lili Szabó, Emilia Varga, Tamara Vártok and Klára Zaj. Matches of the Olympic Hopeful Tournament can be watched live at the YouTube channel of “handball polska”. 

The boys’ U16 national team led by head coach Zsolt Kopornyik holds its training camp in Győr, the number of invitations sent to our players is eleven: Ákos Angebrandt, Árpád Fekete, Dávid Horváth, Sándor Kathi, Tamás Kovács, Barnabás Kranjec, Nándor Leiter, Robin Molnár, Péter Mórocza, István Nyéki and Roland Terjék.
